Don’t look to Maine to get an idea of what Jackson Laboratory may be able to do in terms of fostering the development of a biomedical campus near Ave Maria. That’s because the nonprofit genetics research institute hasn’t focused on other biomedical companies setting up shop around its 160-acre complex in Bar Harbor.
